Manchester & Trafford Group Sessions
Posted 23rd November 2022
Manchester and Trafford Young people have completed their first session on the House Project...WHOOP WHOOP. The team ran two sessions, one at PowerHouse and one at Gorse Hill Studio's. The session had a positive and chilled vibe, and they got the chance to get to know each other better and build on sustaining positive relationships with the staff . The groups were able to establish key ground rules and how they want to treat each other on a session.
The groups decided that the rules will be added to as they go along, the group also acknowledged that, "If a young people keeps not attending sessions, they will need to be spoken to and asked do they actually want to be on the programme"...this shows the commitment the young people want to give whilst on the House Project. This was really refreshing to hear as they were very keen to build on their skills and get the most out of the sessions.
The team cannot wait to do another session next week!
