🌿⛰️ Lake District Residential Adventure! ⛰️🌿

We had an amazing two-night residential in the Lake District, filled with adventure, laughter and plenty of unforgettable memories!

Young people took part in a hill walk, ghyll scrambling (including climbing under a waterfall and a cold-water plunge!), zip lining, and a boat trip on the lake. We also explored a local village and treated ourselves to hot chocolates and ice creams. ☕🍦🚤

The evenings were spent around a cosy fire in a yurt-style hut, making s'mores, carving pumpkins and getting into the Halloween spirit. 🎃🔥 We also took on an orienteering challenge, working together to find hidden stamps across the site.

A special mention to one of our previous cohort young people who joined us as a peer mentor. He was a fantastic support to the group, although he definitely joined in with the fun and mischief too! 😊

It was wonderful to see young people stepping out of their comfort zones, building friendships and creating memories that will last a lifetime. 💙
