BMT 2 - First Group Session 🌟

BMT 2 - First Group Session 🌟

Posted 30th September 2026

A huge welcome to our new Bury Manchester Trafford (BMT) 2 cohort! πŸŽ‰

Our first group session got off to a fantastic start, with everyone getting involved in a range of fun and interactive activities focused on tenancy skills, teamwork, and communication.

One of the highlights of the session was a team challenge where participants were tasked with building the tallest structure possible using only marshmallows and uncooked pasta! πŸ—οΈπŸ The activity encouraged problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork, with some impressive (and slightly wobbly!) creations taking shape.

Alongside the challenges, the group explored topics relating to tenancy and independent living, giving everyone the opportunity to learn new skills while getting to know one another in a relaxed and supportive environment.

It was great to see so much enthusiasm, participation, and laughter throughout the session. We can't wait to see this cohort continue to grow in confidence, build new skills, and make the most of everything the programme has to offer. πŸ’™βœ¨
