It’s an exciting time for Islington House Project. Following a successful pilot phase they are now growing their innovative service so that they can support more care experienced young people to make positive transitions to greater independence.

StoryFutures project

During May Warwickshire House Project young people are working with Avril (Virtual Reality Director) and Joel (Lecturer in Forensic Psychology) on the StoryFutures Project to explore the development of a digital technology that can support young people leaving care.

Islington Council commits to giving all care leavers 12 months’ free wi-fi in national first

Islington Council has become the first local authority in the country to ensure that all young people leaving care in the borough are provided with wi-fi broadband access at home for the first 12 months they live independently.
