House Project Facilitator
Facilitators work directly with young people, run regular group sessions and help young people develop positive relationship that enables them to live successfully in their homes
Josh is currently working with The House Project on secondment from Great Places in Trafford. Before this Josh was working with young adults at a supported accommodation in Trafford since November 2019. Before this, Josh worked as a teaching assistant in a pupil referral unit.
Josh has a passion for sports and has undertaken a year of study at Leeds University in BA(Hons) Physical Education. Josh is excited to take his varied experience into helping The House Project Manchester to grow and develop in order to provide the best possible environment for care experienced young people to be the best versions of themselves they can be, and – most crucially – to have their voices heard at every stage of every process that affects their lives.

This achievement is about so much more than just numbers, it demonstrates a growing community of young people leaving care, living connected and fulfilling lives through developing friendships and community, and really showcases the significant difference meaningful relationships can make.
